ELLEVEN UNIDENTIFIED PRISONERS WERE EXECUTED IN THE PRISON OF SHIRAZ (SOUTHERN IRAN) THIS MORNING


Iran Human Rights, November 24: Elleven prisoners were hanged in the prison of Shiraz (southern Iran) early Thursday morning November 24.
According to the official web site of the Iranian judiciary in Fars province, all the elleven prisoners were convicted of drug trafficking. None of the prisoners were identified by name and they were all sentenced to death behind the closed doors by the revolutionary court.
The charges have not been confirmed by independent sources.
At least 27 people have been executed in the month of November according to the official sources in Iran.
